Sarah’s enthusiasm and commitment to excellence in the court reporting field really impressed me. She answered all of my questions and gave me the confidence to move forward. Her instruction was hands on, personal, and thorough. She gave me all the tools I needed to pass the certification exam. Thanks to Sarah, I passed the certification exam on the first try and I am now a certified court reporter. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in becoming a court reporter.
I was stuck in a dead-end job with a small child at home. I wanted to further my career but certainly didn’t have the time to go back to school full-time. I discovered Court Reporting as an career option and signed up with Sarah. I took my classes online, one night a week. Sarah is a wonderful teacher who is passionate about the field and has extensive experience. She taught us things that you would never find in any textbook. I was fully prepared for the certification exam and passed the first time! Not only was I prepared for the exam, I knew what to expect out in the real world of actual reporting. For anyone interested in becoming a Certified Court Reporter, this is the course for YOU!
I am a former steno student who studied steno for over three years. Throughout my steno training, I heard a lot about voice writing but could not find the right program for me. I started training and passed my certification and became a Certified Verbatim Court Reporter five months later. The program is set up to guide you every step of the way. Sarah and Colette are amazing and available to help you in any way they can. What I like most about the program is that I was able to work at my own pace. I am a go getter, and I needed a program that would allow me to work as fast as I needed or have the ability to slow down when needed. The feedback while working with Sarah and her highly experienced team was awesome. I always knew how I was progressing along. Sarah told me this program would allow me to reach my goal of becoming a court reporter, and she was right. As I approach my 50th birthday in just a few days, I am excited about my future career as a court reporter. It takes dedication and hard work, but I am so glad I came across her program and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new career in court reporting.
From the beginning of class, I was impressed by Sarah’s enthusiasm and how quickly I built up my skills and learned to use my equipment. I was able to work full-time while taking the courses entirely online. I passed the state examination on the first try, and after attending the new reporter orientation, I feel more confident than ever about my choice to study, because virtually all the tips and advice I received in orientation had been given to me by Sarah weeks or months ago! More importantly, I feel like I have a wonderful mentor and cheerleader in Sarah.
Attending the International Realtime Court Reporting Institute was one of the best decisions I ever made. I began classes in January of this year and in four months I had successfully passed the Arkansas State Exam. Working with Sarah I was able to achieve MY goals in MY time. I knew I wanted to move along at my pace and not be held back by someone else’s schedule. I will admit that I worked very hard and this was not easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is! I received my homework and tests back quickly with suggestions on how to improve. From the very beginning, I would tell Sarah where I wanted to be in my coursework and she was there to support me 100 percent. I would not be where I am today without this school. I began working as a reporter in June of this year. I look forward to reaching my full potential in a career I love. I still call Sarah from time to time to walk me through issues I encounter as a working reporter! A huge thank you Sarah and I wish you and your school much success in the future
My decision to go with Sarah and her team was by far one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. The online classes were educational, challenging, motivating, and critical in preparing me for the state exam. I can’t say enough about the quality of the school and how their curriculum was right on track in preparing me for the exam as well as being out in the field. You’re the best! You have changed my life!
